These terms govern your use of ChooseAFinancialAdvisor.com, operated by Thin Air Studios LLC. By using the site, you agree to them.

1. What the site is

The site is a free directory and educational resource to help you begin your search for a financial advisor. It is not investment, legal, tax, or financial advice, and we do not recommend, endorse, or rank any advisor or firm. Choosing an advisor is your decision; meet with several and verify information before hiring anyone.

2. Where information comes from

Profiles are based on public regulatory records and, where noted, information advisors provide. Records can be incomplete, out of date, or contain errors. We don't guarantee accuracy and encourage you to confirm details with the advisor and the official record linked on each profile.

3. Featured placement

Every registered advisor is listed free. Advisors may pay to be "Featured," which highlights them only for searches within 10 miles of their office or in their city. Featured listings are always labeled. All other results are ordered only by the filters you choose, and payment never changes an advisor's public record.

4. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• Scrape, copy, or republish the site's content or data in bulk
• Use the site to send unsolicited marketing to advisors
• Interfere with the site's security or operation
• Misrepresent your identity, including when claiming a profile

5. Advisor profiles and corrections

Advisors may request corrections or removal of their profiles using the "Report an error or request removal" form on any profile, or at hello@chooseafinancialadvisor.com. The form collects your email address and the details of your request, which we use only to handle that request. Claimed-profile content must be accurate, comply with applicable advertising rules, and may be removed at our discretion.

6. Intellectual property

The site's design, text, articles, logo, and the ChooseAFinancialAdvisor.com™ name are owned by Thin Air Studios LLC. Public regulatory data remains public; our compilation and presentation of it are ours.

7. Third-party links

Links to regulators, maps, and other sites are provided for convenience. We aren't responsible for their content.

8. Disclaimers

The site is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, to the fullest extent permitted by law.

9. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Thin Air Studios LLC is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, or for any decision made in reliance on the site.

10. Changes

We may update these terms and will post the new effective date. Continued use means you accept the changes.

11. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Colorado, without regard to conflict-of-law rules.
